Got Milk? Get the Glass Rocks

Justin wrote up a review that is much better than I could ever do on Get the Glass, the amazing new game by by the California Milk Council. I found it through Room 116. As Justin points out, the Flash work is some of the best work ever. The thing that blew me away was the use of water, which I'm always impressed by (see also: Finding Nemo). Aside from the Flash work, the game is pretty fun to play as well. It is a typical board game in which you move forward and backward depending on your roll of the die and the chance cards that you pick up with each turn. The thing that makes the game a bit more unique are the skill games baked into it. In the game, you play a family that is on the run from the law. If the police catch up, you have to play a game of skill in order to escape. If you don't, then it is off to Milkatrez with you where you can escape, lose a turn or have a friend bail you out. As Justin points out, it is a great way for the Milk Council to collect email addresses. Throughout the game, you collect clues that help you break into Fort Fridge, where 'The Glass' is kept. Breaking into the Fort before the police put you in Milkatrez is the ultimate goal. The game isn't simple, which makes you want to go back again. I also suspect that there are a number of easter eggs in the game that my single play last night didn't discover. Get the Glass is advertainment at its finest.
