A year or so ago, I was at a friends house and noticed that he had a huge stack of magazines on the coffee table. All sorts of things from Wired to Golf Digest to Men's Health and all things in the middle. I asked him what the deal was and he explained that he now get's all of his magazine subscriptions off of eBay. He told me that for $8 or $10 you can get multi-year subscriptions to just about anything.
I got home, took a quick look and sure enough, there were a ton of magazine subscriptions availalbe. I immediately signed up for Wired ($6 for 3 years) and Fast Company ($5 for 3 years) and got a free 1 year subscription to Shape for Holly. I recently had to renew my subscription to Golf Digest ($9 for 3 years) and received Stuff and Maxim for 3 years for free. I'm not really in the Stuff / Maxim demographic and I don't quite understand the decision to bundle with Golf Digest, but what the hell, right? Now I am keeping my eyes out for a British car magazine. Let me know if you see one.
